Well the IIS Santa Hat is up adorning the banner and we're nearing Christmas time with only 1 day to go, so I thought I'd take this opportunity to wish you and your loved ones well for Christmas (&/or the Holidays) and for for a bright, happy and prosperous 2022. Here's our Christmas tree...
Christmas, New Year and the holiday period mean different things to different people. I think most accept it as a time for family, friends, reflection, wishing well and ultimately hope and happiness for the future. I feel this is especially important, given what we have collectively been through in 2021.
Unfortunately not everyone's circumstances are the same and for some this can be a difficult period, a time of sadness, loneliness and recalling loss. Support others where you can and always remember the good things - tomorrow is always going to be there.
All the best to you and yours. Give thanks to the wonderful warm community we have here. I hope you get what you want and if not, what you need. For those interested there will be is an IIS Get together in Melbourne, Camberwell in Mid/Late January 2022 on a weekend, with further details to be advised in the Melbourne IIS Meet thread.
