Carina - NGC3372 - First Light ASI2600MC

I've finally done a better processing of more data and present my first list image of NCG3372.

60x180s Gain 100 Lights, 50x darks. Stacked in DSS and processed in PS.
WO GT81/ASI2600MC, NEQ6 Pro, APT and ASCOM controlled. Optolong L-eXtreme filter.

Above my desk I have a metal print of the best image I could do with a DSLR and this image slays that print in terms of detail and colour.

I still have some bugs to iron out but I am in love with this camera.

That is absolutely beautiful. I'd never have known it was L-Extreme!

Really lovely shot. You make me want to re-process my own one now.

great work Jeff. It is an amazing camera and combiend with the Lextreme and the right processing can produce images of a similar standard to the mono cameras IMO

An EOS1500D ... the cheapest I could get.. in case I didnt really get into astro ... and one 2600MC later I think it's safe to say I'm hooked.
