Statue of Liberty Nebula aka NGC3576

My first target with the new ASI2600MM camera. This was 2 nights of data from late March, just before the full moon - about 10 hours total.

I've got a few "teething" problems to sort out (spacing, tilt and USB 3 cables), but overall I'm quite happy with this camera. It's certainly a major step up from the ASI1600MM.

I was using the Sharpstar 107PH with the TS Flat 2.5, so it's 700mm, f/6.54

Very nice. Trying to shoot this one tonight as it looks clear. If I get close to that I'll be stoked.

very nice chris. will be following your experience with the asi2600mm. Seems this target has become very popular all of a sudden!

Thanks Robert. I think it's popular because it's bright, away from the moon and available most of the night. Certainly for me I went for it because of the limited time window I expected. I haven't done it before either, so of course that helped the decision.

Me too, though I don''t think I got enough data to get a decent image.

Thanks Jeff.

You've got a couple more months to go for this year to get data, so hopefully that will work out.

Thanks JA.

Inspired by Robert's starless version I decided to give it a go as well:
