First try at Moon

Taken between clouds on a very windy night. It seems they sent the wrong weather with my new scope. But any practice is good practice, right.

Neximage camera and processed with Registax.

Hi Mark, that's a great start. It's a pity your conditions were not better for you.

Cheers

Great detail.
Will you be giving Saturn and Jupiter a go too?

Whatever I can get it in frame is in danger of being snapped. Although I'll wait till Jupiter gets out of bed a little earlier. I'm dead on my feet come midnight.

cheers

Dang! Thats good for a first!!!

I got some good moon pics last night but my memory stick ain't big enough to move them across to this pooter for stacking and processing. All I could get over was a short one I did capturing only 200 frames.
