Solar Filter Experiment

The two images of the Sun with AR2781 were recorded with a C11 in woeful seeing this morning.
However the prime aim was to test contrast features between two filter sets used. The white light image was filtered using an Astronomik G filter type 2C while the one in UV was taken with an 18A Filter with an IR blocking filter added. While the imagery is not great I think the results warrant another try with this filter set in better seeing next time.

Definite contrast increase with that blue/purple filter
Reminds me of the Coronado K telescope!
I wonder what ever happened to those?
