NGC1300 Barred Spiral Galaxy

Very good seeing at the moment.

NGC1300 in Eridanus is quite small at 7'X3', Mag 10.4.

47 X 240s subs = 3hrs. Unity gain.

Thanks for looking :-)

Peter
Great result from a very small dim target
Spirals well exposed
Core quite good as well
Well done !!

I notice like me your a bit of a Galaxy Hunter under these nice dark skies on the south coast

Any further plans on a bigger “Galaxy” scope 10”, 12”,14” or bigger ??

Martin

Thanks John, Martin.

We are blessed with clear skies!

Currently imaging NGC1531.
