Kulnura anyone ?

What about those of us who do not fancy a drive to Queensland or Victoria this weekend - can we have a meet at Kulnura?

I'll be at Albury, Joe. So will GTB, Mike, and Ausastronomer. Not sure who else may be available to meet you. You will need to make contact with the owners beforehand (Craig) to make sure it is OK.

I'd love to and am in desperate need of a darker sky fix but can not make it. Between work travel and time with Campbell at Doctor/hospital etc. I will not be able to get away for a while...

I'll be there this weekend if its on. Is there a Flight Controller for this who gives the go/no go? The Lightbridge has forgotten how to see below mag 9 and needs a run in the dark!

You can't just rock up unless someone has organised it with the owner and has been given the ok.

So if you guys are planning to go, please organise to ring the owner and report back here.

It would be nice if few people were willing to go as I do not want to sit there in the dark all by my lonesome being sniffed by the dogs the size of a small cow...

I am sorry I am unable to attend as I am expected to work this Saturday.
I was hoping for a great Saturday nights viewing but...the low participation rate did not help things either....

unfortunately must work 07:00hrs sunday morning so won't be able to attend this month, will try september.

Reakon there is any chance of a mini lostock type weekend later in the year before xmas????

When we are relying on the good will of the owners of a private property, we cannot leave it to chance. If no one rings in advance for permission, we are effectively trespassing. It just takes one thoughtless act to spoil the opportunity of using the Paint Ball site for everyone. All things considered, some army orders are well and truly the "order" of the day!

Hopefully some of the gang can make it to Kulnura in September. I will be away on holidays up the North Coast, so my apologies in advance.
