Jupiter 20 April 1130 UT

157 frames
gain 45%
gamma 0
Saturation 100%
Brightness 50%
1/33 sec
10 fps
seeing 6/10

GRS visible on the edge of the planet. Now running out of time to image Jupiter for this season, this is close to my best.

Comments welcome

Nice colours, very natural looking.. if the white spots weer a little crisper it would definitely be your best.
Great shot.

Here is the same one with minimal processing, just some waveletting. What do you think?

Phil I don't own the LIP anymore, I have been using the Toucam Pro2 with colour optimization for a while now. The Toucam has greater resolution than the LPI, so I gave it away.

Thanks guys for the comments, I like the first one two, but am concerned about the burn out in the centre.

Anyway thanks again.

This one is from a bit later, the seeing degraded quite a lot, but you still get the idea.
