Bright nebula in puppis ?

I walked out and plonked my scope down the other night an brought a low power eyepiece to focus to find a bright irregular shaped nebula right in the centre of field .. unfortunately the cloud moved in right away and didn't clear for many hours .. guessing somewhere around puppis/ vela area
Any ideas what it was ?.. much appreciated.

Probably something I have been looking for and never managed to find in the past

It might be NGC 2467 which is near M93.

Was up from midnight to 2:30am last night. Used the 12" in the observatory with the 13mm Hyperion and also used a 2x Barlow (230 times, 20' field) on some objects as the seeing was good.
