Finally used my new mount

So, for the first time in weeks the skies over Sydney cleared for a few hours which let me setup my new tripod for my binoculars. The tripod is a no name brand but is very heavy duty, the size of the main nut is a beauty. (I don't mean me either when referring to the main nut Alex ).

BINOCULR sUPPORT aRM

Hi Tailwag,
Congratulations on getting your Binoculars operational. I have a pair also and they are very heavy. In the near future I hope to have posted in the DIY section, a Parallelogram Arm to build yourself that would attach to your Tripod.. I attached some photos , if you are interested keep an eye on the DIY section in the near future.
Best regards Larry Brockman

That looks fantastic Larry, I definitely will be interested in finding out how you built yours, the photos look amazing, also on a side note, the wife loves your pot plants, she is a nut for that sort of thing.

Nice one Larry, I like the way you cradle the binos. I'm wrestling with making one out of aluminium. I'd be keen to see your DIY notes too.

Cheers,

Ben
