More Dob Balancing

Recently, as a bout of EP fever struck me down, found myself with a 1kg anomaly imbalance (2" UWAN). My daughter is an amateur photography buff, and immediately grabbed a "sandbag" from one of her light stands.Used with an appropriately sized "occie " strap, with several trials of cheap "Kmart" split shot sinkers, this has now given a rapid, variable (with the Barlow or not) system to using the larger EP. Looks professional and takes up no room, 2 seconds to install. Available for about $6.00 + sinkers!

I use 2 neodymium and a 1 kilo weight from a dumbbell kit and slide it up and down my OTA depending on what in the focuser. Looks professional? Probably not. Cant really see it in the darkness.
