eBay power bank?

I saw these on eBay last night and wonder if they're too good to be true. Has anyone used them? Can they handle long peroids of 5-7A output through the jumper cables? Is their rated capacity exaggerated? I'd love to be able to use one to power an EQ6 and laptop

I have one that is like this. I mean the packaging and battery look the same and it comes with the same accessories. I use it to

1. Power my EQ6, via a lighter plug
2. Power my Daystar quark via the usb port
3. Charge my phone
4. Have jumpstarted my 2.8 liter diesel D40 ute

For the scope use I can just velcro it to the mount where it is out of the way.

I can really recommend this type however I can't recommend this particular one as it is branded differently. I I purchased mine from ebay from an australian seller for $180. In auto stores they go for around $220.

If it's actually the same then they are great, however I am always wary about buying from ebay...

Cheers
Paul

I use a similar 12 volt Lithium battery pack with a jump start outlet, a USB outlet and a separate 12 volt outlet. Works fine for the mount but I think would struggle if used for dew control as well. I looked at another similar thing at a well known bricks and mortar battery store but the salesperson thought that it was designed to only supply power for a few seconds through the jump start leads. I didn't take any steps to verify that but it may be worth checking.
