The Entrance Photos

Here's a smattering of some photos taken this weekend while in The Entrance. Macro flower photos taken in the Sensory Garden at The Entrance North. Existing light photos taken in The Entrance itself.

I tied not to take any photos of pelicans but this seems to be an impossibility at The Entrance...

All photos taken with the Oly C5060WZ.

You can work out what processing I've done to each photo from the filename:
c = crop
sh = shadows and highlights
l = levels
g = greyscale
web = resize and save for web

Great pics Al, shame we couldn't meet up.

I was actually at the Entrance at 5am this morning but I didn't think you'd appreciate a wake-up call

Will post my pics tomorrow if I get time to process them.

Thanks Guys.

HOughy, it's worth the drive one night... It a great place to play for existing light photography - lots of water, lights, parks and gardens. Good places to eat too that are easy to get to... take the family out to dinner and quietly slope off afterwards to take some nice piccy's - while enjoying a nice relaxing after dinner walk of course!

I appreciate that Mike! Neither Lyn or myself slept very well Friday night (we must've been excited or something! ) but we certainly did Saturday night, especially around 5 am! You are to be commended on your judgement!

Al where abouts is that wharf? (4th shot top row). I don't think I've seen that one before, looks like a nice photo opportunity - yours is a very nice shot.
