LXD55 Mount and Tripod

Hi,

For sale is a LXD55 10" Mount and Tripod (ie the OTA is not for sale).

The items include:
- counterweights 3x10 lbs, counterweight shaft
- autostar controller + Battery pack and polar view finder

I have the original packaging for the tripod/mount portion stored away for the tripod and mount (the packaging for the counterweights has been sold) and it has only had one owner.

The mount is in decent condition (ie no dirt/rust), the tightening knobs work well. One of the rubber tripod feet is slightly worn.

The mount is classified as a German equatorial mount however I am unsure if it is based on a EQ4 or EQ5 mount.

Price is $400 ONO and am located in Melbourne (Picture shown with LXD55 SN Mounted).

Hi Brian, apologies I had only noticed your message.

The maximum weight would be the multiples of the counterweights. As there are 30 lbs in counterweights then 30 lbs of equipment would be the maximum.

However, I would suggest 20-25 lbs of equipment would be comfortable but I have not tested this as I no longer have an OTA.

Regards
