Chaffey Dam Report

the wife an i travelled to Inverell for a soccer tournament this last week

we left on Sunday and stopped over at chaffey dam for the nite

THE DAM IS FULL!

none of the camp sites we have previously used are available any more
All under water
nice new tarred road past the toilet block and a new boat ramp by the looks of it
from the toilet block W, N and E it is only about 150mtrs to the waters edge
very few FLAT sites available

the surrounding country side was a carpet of green (nothing like what we saw last time)
the camp sites were a soggy mess, reflecting the amount of rain they must have had recently

so i think we can avoid chaffey for a while

That good to hear there has been rain up there.
The Dam was looking pretty miserable on our last visit.

I wonder how it has been up at Glen Riddle.

Edit:
I did a inquiry on Split Rock Dam (the main dam down stream) and it is still only at 28%. ?
