Precise-parts local alternatives?

Hello

I have a FSQ85 and an CCD-FW-OAG combo that ends in M54-0.75 female thread.

Finding adapters for them prove a major challenge. I look at Precise-parts which is probably the easiest, but it is expensive and because I want a few different adapters the prices add up very quickly.

Are there local expertise in making these either in NZ or Australia for a lower price?

I need:

(1) M54 male to M54 male (direct coupling of CA35 to Atik OAG in native focal length), as short as possible

(2) M56 female - M54 male at a specified length (coupling QE reducer to Atik OAG skipping the CA35 - I have yet to buy the reducer but like to plan ahead...)

(3) SC female to M54 male at a specified length (coupling EdgeHD to Atik OAG with or without a yet to be purchased reducer)

(4) M48 female to M54 male to couple the OAG to CCDT67 for my 6" RC.

As you see if I have all four made by PreciseParts that will be something like US$500-600... Thats very expensive...

Am I missing some cheaper options?

TS has a lot of adapters: http://www.teleskop-express.de/shop/..._adaptors.html

Here's the 4th one you're after: http://www.teleskop-express.de/shop/...nd-Filter.html

It's a shame precise parts prices aren't a bit cheaper - they'd do a lot of business.

Hi Henry,
I can make those adaptor rings in black anodised finish at much better prices. If interested, send me a PM.
Regards,
Stefan

I can vouch for Stefan's work, a perfectionist and expert.

Need to see you soon Stefan too, another dovetail drill job, but as I've moved I keep forgetting..

Wish I'd known that before I ordered several things from PP!
