Few older images showing my progress of imaging Mars with ED80.
All taken with ED80 + SPC900NC, processed with pipp (crop + quality selection) + autostakkert (stacking and more quality selection) + wavelets in registax.
We have:
1. 20/4/2016, 2x Barlow, 1200 frames - very small
2. 21/4/2016, 2x Barlow + 3x Barlow - this is a real pain to focus and to locate the object!!!
3. 16/5/2016, 2x Barlow + 3x Barlow, 2000 frames
And it has rained since...
I am clearly getting better but I am not sure how much more can be squeezed out of the small aperture.
Edit: uploaded photo 4 showing the calsky view of Mars at the same time the image 3 was taken.
am so jealous, before i got some understanding of wavelets my mars attempts were salmon blobs with 11" SCT. Since my stroke even that is beyond me now would dearly love to get some texture to mars. You've done a great job there, hope some of those newbies take note at what can be done with a webcam.
