Mars, Phobos and Deimos May 20th

Good seeing tonight so have been imaging Mars with the 12 inch scope. Pleasantly surprised to see Phobos and Deimos so easily when I turned up the exposure and gain on the ZWO 120MC camera.

That's an inspiring result Richard, I may give it a go myself. They are 11.3 for Phobos and 12.3 for deimos.

John.

Thanks John.

Your images are wonderful.
Its amazing what the modern cameras can do. I am an old dinosaur who still remembers taking pictures of the planets with film.
