ED 100 first light

The first pic of 3 mins
A quickie and dirtie18 mins of M42.
Mount was playing up and didn't figure out til too late that the voltage was a bit low.
New ED 100 is a Skywatcher clone - a Saxon 100ED F9
Nice spread of sky and no fringing I can detect.
Got some work to do with the setup but that's not a problem - just time.

That's a pleasing result for 'quick and dirty'; can't wait to see the slow clean version.

I'm really happy with it thanks Cris.
Had a very productive night last night too.
Tarantula, plaiedes, horsehead and rosette. Plus M79 for good measure.

Thats spot on Jenniffer. A good little scope as well particularly if the Saxon turns out to be like my Skywatcher F9 OTA. From the posted images it certainly looks like a nice flat field.

They are an identical scope, same production line. If memory serves, Sky Watcher own Saxon.

Sure is a clone _ just a different paint job.
Does an excellent job for the outlay.
