M 8 - Lagoon Nebula

GSO 305 mm - Canon T3 - 8 x 4 min (32 min) - ISO 800 - OAG - Skyglow filter - Coma corrector

I am working with cluster, but why not a nebula.again ?
The file is larger than 200k, therefore only by link:

Looking quite nice. On the Astrobin version, is that a lower quality jpeg or potentially heavy noise reduction?

Colin, at Astrobin I didn't care very much with noise. As the scale is 3218 x 2142 pixels , with few number of photos, my attention was with enhancement of details of nebula.

If I clean the image some details of nebula would vanished. My intention with my photos is see what I can not see with my eyes. The quality of the photo is a secondary issue. Because this usually I publish two photos, one with the most scale possible.

Another issue is with stock Canon cameras. If you publish photos with its full scale (resolution), or very near it, the image never will have the same appearance of a CCD mono camera.

I like this photo because of the amount of details inside of the nebula. The image is full size of sensor. I only resized the image from 4272 x 2848. I am happy with my last adjustment of coma corrector.
