Exclamation Got a few bucks to spare?

I picked up this article today. Aussie astronomers so strapped for cash they are turning to crowd funding. A pox on Canberra. Can you help?

Now that they've deposed our Neandertal leader there may be more support for the science field. (apologies to Neandert(h)als). The new guy will tread softly for a while but with twice the brain power I hope he'll show more broad support for the community.

Tony, the absolute disgrace you have shown to Neanderthals is appalling. You should be banned for such insults!

Surely Tony Abbott was more akin to Homo Stupidicus.

Don't get me started on sports and the multi-millions given to some to play it.

All that money that could have already gotten our butts to Mars or beyond... oh no, we have to pay some half-wit wearing tight shorts and a singlet or wear spandex and ride a bike millions to entertain yobbos in armchairs.

And then there are actors and musicians...

Rant receding... slowly

Don't get me started on uselessness of the n-th version of Terminator or Spider-Man...

As for musicians, the last one I know of that composed real music died on the 17th of October 1849...

I made the mistake of watching the latest Termite-enator. Oh, P-LEASE!

Absolute waste of time. Simply a vehicle to relaunch Arnie. The movie itself was scheiss in every sense of the word. I doubt he'll be back...

I've been patient with this thread, but I'm watching it get off topic now.
Enough, please stay on topic remembering the TOS rules about being respectful (all round) inc. to the OP's topic.

Since I hate going through umpteen sites to get to a destination here's where you end up on Kickstarter:https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...ay?ref=popular.
Or just go to Kickstarter and search for "Mopra" for yourself.
Anyway, just go support it before its lost and take your complaints to your local MP.
