I have to fund a Mak Cass so reluctantly I have to let my "grab and go" "Baby Blue" Vernonscope Brandon APO refractor go to a good home.
This is an original Vernonscope air spaced triplet comprising glass elements designed and manufactured by Roland Christen at Astro-Physics.
The intention was to manufacture a 92mm APO and so Don Yeier at Vernonscope pre ordered 50 lens cells and focusers engraved with the 92mm inscription. Subsequently Roland advised Don that the lenses were measuring 94mm and so the remainder were inscribed as such. This example is one of the "few" 50 with the 92mm inscription and thus is very hard to find, especially in such excellent condition.
Glass is clear, unblemished and collimated.
It is supplied with the ring set and Vixen dovetail plate, Original Vernonscope 2 inch diagonal and the removable dew shield.
The OTA has a couple of V small paint blemishes that are difficult to see.

Vernonscope Brandon is Sold.
Gitzo tripod is atill available.
The carbon fiber tripod is an "as new" Gitzo GT0542 Mountaineer asking $650.
The FTQ mount is not for sale.
