BYEOS Website-Trapped myself in silly situation. Help!

Hi,
I am a licenced user of BYEOS Premium Edition. I wanted to upgrade to the latest version and so went to the website and was redirected to the new O'Telescope site. I eventually worked out that I had to register and did so. During the registration process I was told I would receive a confirmation email within ten minutes. This email did not arrive. I waited around 24 hours and then thought I would try to log in anyway and it worked. Managed to post etc so all OK I thought. The next day I went back and could no longer log in! So I assumed I had made some dumb mistake and tried password recovery. This appeared to work and again I was told I would receive an email with more log in details. This email also has never arrived.
At the bottom of the "How to Upgrade" instructions there is a small contact link for use if still having trouble. I had been able to use this earlier before I realised I had to register. Now that I am registered I am told to "use the forum for all support" because it recognises my email address. In other words, my registered email address is correct. So why did I not get the registration and log in detail emails???
As far as I can see there is now no way for me to communicate my problems to Guylain. So I am stuck.
Any ideas? Anyone know of a direct way of contacting Guylain?
I have lots of experience with various forums and I am as certain as any mere mortal can be that I did not do anything stupid.
What can I do?
Regards to all
Ian

Hi Rusty,
No I had not seen that screen. However I just tried it and I get the same message. ie " There is an account registered to this email address. If you have an account please log in to post support request".
So I still have the same issue.
Thanks for trying
Ian

no worries, Guylain has posted on IIS before you might be able to search for threads on byeos to find his user name. then send a PM or he may have his email there also ...

As pointed out you can use the webform to get in touch with me.

You can also send a direct email to support@otelescope.com.

Since you already have a BYE license, you can also reply to the email you received your initial license key in

In the bottom right corner of my website, www.otelescope.com, you will also see an info@otelescope.com and a Canadian telephone number.

Multiples way to get in touch with me... including posting a question here, it seemed to work too as several others did respond to your call for help.

In any case, were you able to upgrade?

Guylain

That is actually the absolute best way to get it touch with me. I check that inbox several times a day.

The support forum on the o'telescope web site is a even better for faster replies if you have an account on my forum. I'm almost always logged in on the forum and will read every threads.

Regards,

Guylain

Hello Guylain,
No I have not been able to upgrade because I cannot log in. I am unable to renew my password because the log in detail email does not arrive. I tried to use the contact links on the webpage but they won't work because my email address is recognised as having an account. I am not trying to criticise anyone. I genuinely could not see how to resolve this.
I still need your help.
Regards
Ian
