Part Of The New Package ED 100

My new ED 100 arrived tonight, the first part of the new package.
l'll do a thorough review when the skies clear but first impressions are that the build quality is very good.
The Crayford seems very smooth but still with a feeling of control and the paint finish is more than adequate. My only initial criticism is that the 2" diagonal holder is not fitted with a brass compression ring although this can be replaced with a Mercury unit which l will order next week.

Nice Mick. I agree the focuser on these little ED scopes are nice and smooth, but I do wish they would come out with a 10:1 crayford on them. They could really do with one.

The ED100 is stunning and great value.
