QHY5L-II Mono

Bought this 2-3 months ago and it has only been used once for some solar imaging. Selling due to incomplete driver support for my 2014 MacBook Pro and Parallels which I run Windows 8.1 through.
At the moment I get 2 FPS at full frame and 10 FPS at low res. Works perfectly on my older Compaq so the camera is fine. QHY just haven't added support for USB 3.0 Macs.

Bought it for $400, asking $325 posted in Australia.

Just a heads up, I have the exact same camera and have a Macbook Pro Retina and works perfectly. I have Windows 7 installed via Boot Camp. Maybe try that out?

Thanks for the information. I had heard of it working via bootcamp, just falls into the too hard basket :-) I am planning on using it as a guider as well in the coming weeks. At the moment it is still a bit hit and miss as to whether it wants to work, PHD2 cannot connect to it.
It's cheaper for me to buy a new camera (ZWO USB3?) than buy Windows 7.

Are you connecting as an ascom camera and then selecting the qhy camera in the subsequent dialogue after you click connect ?

Yeah, it works in TSX and Maxim DL, somewhat. Works better in TSX, in Maxim it sometimes takes 2-5 seconds to download each 1.2mp frame. Works fine in Maxim on my Compaq so it is just a driver issue with Mac and Paralells, even read that it can potentially be Yosemite causing the problem but no confirmation on that.
