Thanks Guy's I have just come back home from a birthday celebration at the local surf club.
You are spot on Phil, I even announced my party tonight as the "Ultimate answer to the ultimate question of life the universe & everything Party"
I still don't have the answer, but I will go with the advise of the venerable "Slarty Bardfast" from the Guide, who said: "I would much rather be happy, than right, any day"
For my birthday I am going to renew my membership with the HGFA & get back into hang gliding !

Not mine but I have flown it (with assistance) on a couple of occasions. It's a Pegasis Quasar with a Rotax 462 Engine, belonged to a mate, he now owns a 582 version. They're a lot of fun but really are only light weather machine, crosswind landings are hairy to say the least. If you can already handle a hang glider you would have no problem with one. (Next Birthday perhaps...)
