Asteroid Occultation -Sunday AM

"heads up" for the 1242 Zambesia "V" TYC 1767-00011-1 event for 4:24am Sunday morning.

80% of the Sydney metro area is within the shadow path.

I have just prepointed my 10inch scope at my home in the Blue Mountains and I'll try for another chord with my 8"LX90, someplace east of Richmond. The mag. 11.6 target star should be easy with video and the mag. 2.2 drop means the star will dissapear for a maximum of 8.6 seconds.
