This observation would seem to raise a small problem for current cosmology one could think.
The question must be asked.... How could such a massive object be created so early.
I wish I could provide the math but this observation is out of wacky with what we should find.
I think this observation may push back the time frame cosmology works with..perhaps.
Think about it for such a massive object to form so early in time must raise many questions one could think.
To find the answer will be worth a Noble pride.
This observation is very exciting and what follows no doubt will refine our understanding of the early evolution of the universe.
I wonder if this is the earliest black hole to be discovered...discovery of anything earlier and massive will make interesting news.
Will something earlier and more massive be observed in the future...if this is the oldest and the most massive maybe a rethink is needed.
But as often the case something pushing the limit will be observed..if so how will cosmology need to adjust.
So exciting I feel we are about to witness some major extension to our understanding of the early days of creation...jm sorry creation is not appropriate however this observation must hint at some major adjustments in the time line of cosmology.
I wait for an older and bigger black hole.
And how that expected observation will adjust our science.
Very interesting, I kept this document from New Scientist back in 2007 that predicted Trillions of black holes may have formed from the big bang.
Looks like this guy may have been correct.
