The first storm

Not a bad looking storm. I thought we might get more than just rain.

Love photo stich!

Nice shot Anne-Louise. It looked good coming in up here too, but fizzled out in the end. A good drop of rain, but pretty sedate in the end.

Hi everyone, I've only just had a chance to check the forum, been busy.

I had hoped it would be a good storm, I miss them. Tony and I used to sit outside on deck chairs watching them come and photograph the lightening. We were 'the crazy neighbours' for a while.

No I haven't got my camera back , it's Tony's. It isn't too bad, just less pixils. I've taken some macro shots but they are not as good. Not big enough to be a sharp desktop for me. i got a letter yesterday from Canon and initially I thought it was ready but when I read it properly it was just to say they've just recieved it in NSW. I phoned this morning and they haven't even looked at it yet and they said they've had it a week.

The photo was only 2 frames. I took another one 3 frames wide but it didn't look anywhere as good. Too close.

The one thing I miss living in Perth is good thunderstorms. When I lived over east we used to sit on the veranda on a stinkin' hot arvo with a few cold tinnies watching the storms roll in. Bliss
