Any one any idea how much a 12.5" Orion deep space explorer dob is worth
I know of someone who wants to sell one of these from a deceased estate . They were made between 1982 and 1996 , have a one speed focuser , finderscope and telrad. Total weight tube and dob base is 98lb (43-44Kg), quite a handful. Any idea what it might be worth . Modern GSO telescopes appear to have better specs , a 12" is about $850 new. So what would this one be realistically worth , considering freight would be expensive ?
