Doctor Who Christmas Special

Clara Oswald is back for the next season, when everything in the last season suggested we'd finally seen the last of her for good.

A Christmas treat that was not.

Anybody else disappointed?
Regards,
Renato

I really liked the Christmas special. It was actually a Christmas story rather than a convoluted story to tie up loose subplots that previous specials have been.
A clever but simple idea about dreams.

Yes, it was quite watchable, and I enjoyed the twists.

BUT - one's brain is being slowly disolved, and one winds up suffering no ill effects afterwards when the evil creatures have been done away with. Really?

Cheers,
Renato

It ate the part we don't use.

That was plainly the premise - the creatures are humane while destroying brains.

But which part of one's brain would one be happy to have a neurosurgeon cut out?

All of the brain is used.
Cheers,
Renato

Don't think about it too hard! The show constantly fails logical scrutiny.

Having said that, I liked the episode. Dreams within dreams. Something to think about when we are awake... or are we???
