Hi guys,
Took some close ups of comet Lovejoy 2014 last Wednesday night from the ASV's Leon Mow Dark Sky site near Heathcote, Victoria.
37 x 2 min exposures at ISO 1600 with a 12.5" f/5 scope and modified Canon 400D.
Had fun processing some variants. High res links to a few different versions as follows:
- Deep Sky Stacker version with no star trailing - possibly shows a small ion tail at 12:30 position

- Deep Sky Stacker version with star trailing

- Registax version with with star trailing - best view of tail

The tail was difficult to image - only small signs of it in my images.
Mag estimated at just below 6th magnitude and it was visible with averted vision naked eye.
Clear skies.
