A quick stirfry (updated)

A quick image of the saucepan, captured with an old school Nikkor 200mm f4 AI lens (stopped down to f5.6) and a modded Canon 450D @ ISO1600 with regulated cooling at 10C

exposure details:
21 x 480s subs
17 x 60s subs

This isn't a premium lens - It doesn't have any ED elements so there is a bit of CA present, but nothing too objectionable IMHO, especially for a quicky shot like this.

Hi res (of the latest version) here: http://www.astrobin.com/140416/C/

Thanks for looking

looks good Richard, do you think you'll make a mosaic out of this?
looks like that cooling is paying off at this time of year!

I have always liked this type of field of view. The colours are quite pleasing and the violet is just the only distraction.

A beautiful photo Richard.

I love the wide composition.

Nice colours and detail.

Ross.
