M31 from Norway, again

Aproximately 3 hrs 15 minutes of exposures, ranging from 120s to 600s. With one-shot color cam ATIK 383 L through a William Optics 90mm.

Better than before maybe, but I have very much to learn about processing, especially the colors (have found some helpful ideas about processing in Wodaski's The New astro zone system).

So many remarkable images on this forum, but I allow myself to contribute with my image

Btw: the weather in southern Norway is beyond crappy. It has been an utter disaster since mid september Help!

A nice capture. M31 is one of my favourite objects but unfortunately it does not get very high here in Australia.

I think there is a lot of detail in your image that can be brought out with a bit more processing.
Continue reading your "The New Astro Zone System" book. It has a lot of good ideas. It has helped me a lot and I think it can help you improve your photo.

Good luck.

Ross.
