Statue of Liberty NGC 3576 + NGC2603 – the colour version

Statue of Liberty NGC 3576 + NGC3603 – the colour version

Back in September I published (Ha+L) version, after recovering some files from a faulty HD.
http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=124764

This is the full colour version, although not all data files could be recovered.
(WO FLT132, STT-8300m, CGEM, …, 8h NB+RGB)

That's a great image Ian.
You have a lot of detail there & you've gone deep.
It's a fantastically photogenic area of the sky.
I tried once but only got 55 minutes of data before the clouds came rolling in.

I will definitely give it another go after seeing your effort.

cheers
Allan

Quite an interesting look at a familiar object. The colouring is nicely done. Overall a high impact image.

I didn’t have S2 component and I really don’t like this combination where R=S2, B=O3 and G=Ha. It’s as unnatural as (almost) possible.
So, having “strong” RGB frames I added O3 to G, Ha to R and a mixture of Ha+O3 to L.

Really interesting field and color mix. There is a lot going on there!
I really wish I could reach that far south but at 34 degrees North I'm out of luck.
