Thanks Ross, glad you love it. My fave so far was my Witch Head Nebula. With this one though I just wish I had more data on it as I think it is a tad noisy but cheers mate!

Cheers Simon, yeah lots of dust up there, that's one of the things I have been surprised about the most as I have processed these images. I really thought there was something wrong with this image when I started processing it and saw dust running vertically through the frame! But yeah, its really there.

Cheers John, yeah I don't think many people realise how close these 2 classic objects are together. I only recently found it out myself. Yes get your DSLR out and get some wide field shots, lots of fun.

Thank you Marco, glad you like it. Yeah I was not sure how the California Nebula would look being so close to the horizon. I could see it in my test subs so I knew it was there and that I would be able to pull it out. We had a couple great nights at Wiruna last month. It was perfect! I'm just disappointed I can't be out there this weekend. Oh well, always next month.
