Hi Guillaume,
very nice and very enviable images, thanks for sharing. tell me please, I notice you are using a 2x barlow; is this so that you can achieve focus or simply to enlarge the image. I have read something that implys that focus might be difficult for imagers with the PST, is this the case?

Very nice image, Guillaume! I'd love to have a go at some webcam/DMK work with a PST.

Unfortunately it's not high enough on my shopping list.. too many other things I want first.

I've only had one go at imaging with my PST and ToUcam - not veyr successfully I might add. I did experience difficulty focussing! But I shall have to have another go!

Doug --> yes I use a barlow X2 to achieve the focus ... without barlow, I can't have the focus

Very nice animation! Can you explain how you took it? What is the difference between each of the frames?

The first one looks like white light, whereas the others are obviously taken with the PST.

Are they different levels or processing, or different captures each with a different adjustment on the PST?

That is a wonderful animation, peering into different layers of the Sun. The intensity of the colour and the textures make the animation look hot, very hot!

Hi guys,
for the animation, the first image shows the Sun in white light and the the second in the Halpha... all images was taken with the PST... but for the first image I adjust the filter to have the sun in white light (only sunspot) and for the second for have the sun in Halpha with sunspot, granulation and prominence....
For the 2 images I did the same process (under registax, iris, PSP9)
