sirius observatories

I am thinking of getting one of the fibreglass sirius observatories for my celestron gps 11.Can anyone tell me if the gps feature will work in these observatories when the slot is open?

yes it certainly will, even work when its closed too - mine did/does

If you are in a stationary position, apart from time sync (which can be solved many other ways), what use is the GPS anyway?
