Gold and silver Sagittarian starclouds

Taken in fantastically clear skies near Lithgow NSW on Friday evening. Winds were gale force, and I was sheltering the tripod behind a house to try and reduce mount wobble, but was rewarded with this view. 6 x 2-minute exposures, EOS 60D on Skytracker, 100mm lens, ISO 1600 f/3.2, stacked in DSS, processed in Photoshop. I'm happy enough with this that I thought I'd dare post in the main deep sky gallery . The view includes JJJnettie's "Great Foot of Sagittarius"!

A larger version is available here, and a closer crop here and comments/criticisms are welcome!

Hi Andy,
Wow - that looks sharp to the edges.
The Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM looks like a top lens.

cheers
Allan
