Very nice Charles, but why did you use the reducer. It would have been
nicely framed without it.

Good comment. I guess it was just lazyness. I already had it in after I did the Moon shot.

Very nice shot Omega - I like this a lot. I think this *IS* very nicely framed with a bit of space around it!

Just be careful (as in the Lagoon shot) to not make the background too dark.
Cheers,
Cam

Lovely shot.
As for the focal reducer - when it comes to framing the crop function can be your best friend

Thanks.

For sure. I have refrained from cropping my Images so far. I have a nice one of the NGC 2438 Nebula sitting in front of the M46 Cluster. Pretty small Nebula. I havnt posted that one yet.

Nice going again Charlse, quite like the field perspective, tho in saying that, if you were to take 2 or 3 minute subs, you'll be surprised at how large this Glob will grow, hence, will virtually fill this field, tho the center will most likely blow out/overexpose ! thats when one learns about layering short subs with longer ones to keep all under controll
Some good star colour in there and very well focused pin points also, great stuff

I did start with a longer expossure but as you said the center blew out so I shortened it. I need to learn how to work with Long ones and shorter ones to fix this problem.
