In my opinion, the Great Nebula in Orion is a very difficult object to photograph well. Sydney summers are very cloudy and warm, so I only managed to capture a few bursts of useful image sequences. To keep my skills developing, I also re-processed some historical data sets. I know these M42 renditions are strange, but hopefully they have their own special appeal. I’m not contented with producing conventional images, and regardless, Sydney is not the best place in the world for LRGB imaging.
