Dew controller wiring

Hi everyone.Just needed some help trying to figure out some wiring for a telekit I'm soon to build in the coming months.
I have a dg-3 secondary heater which I don't want to use a 9v battery for. I have been looking at the markless spider wire kit. It does away with the 9v battery box. Markless also has a fused RCA power lead.
The dew controller is a thousdand oaks. The controller has a cigarette plug to power it. My idea was to cut he ciggy plug off and solder on a RCA plug in its place. Use the fused RCA power lead from the powered ground board box to power the dew controller on the UTA.
The markless spider wire kit has a RCA plug which screws on to the outside of the UTA ring.
Can l use a port off the dew controller to power the dg-3 heater.
If anyone can help it would be great as the more l try and figure it out the more confused l get.
Cheers Curt.

Dew controllers use a PWM switch that pulses a 12v ON/OFF current at a fast rate. Check if the DG-3 can handle 12v, otherwise you just need put in a simple voltage divider to bring it down to 9v.

Also i wouldnt cut the ciggy plug, just make an adapter ($5)
