PHD guiding

Does anyone use an SBIG camera with a remote guide head in PHD guiding. If so could they reply to this thread and let me know how they select it.

Thank You
JEff

Sorry I don't know but why not contact Dave Stark programmer for PHD. Go to http://www.stark-labs.com and email him.

Craig Stark, you mean?

Jeff, I emailed the guys at Main Sequence about the STL-11000M and the Remote Guide Head working in their software. They have a download that allows you to use the RGH with PHD.

This is verbatim from Jared's email:

Quote:
You'll need to install the SGP API Guider which can be found on our downloads page. You'll use this as your guide camera in PHD. In SGP you'll need to open up the SBIG settings and pick the guider for your camera. You can find more info here:
http://www.mainsequencesoftware.com/...p/Cameras.html

Whenever you install the SGP API Guider look through the readme for more specific directions on how to setup the guider.

You can find the API Guider here:
http://www.mainsequencesoftware.com/Releases
I haven't tried it (as I'm going the CCD Commander/MaxIm DL/PinPoint route), but, it might be worth trying the download and see if you can get PHD to recognise the RGH.
