Oh yes I have invited a few fellow campers over for a look at the moon tonight .
Cheers .

Thanks Trevor , I just finished showing another 2 couples ( grey nomads ) the moon and Jupiter , a real hit especially showing them M42 in the Tak and 27mm Panoptic and also some naked eye stuff using my laser pointer .
They left knowing a lot more of the night sky and its quite dark here . .
I like this .

Wink Brian in Mandurah

Brian,
So you have entered Mandurah "without a permit?"
We try to keep this place and its advantages a secret but it looks like it is to late. Hmmm.
Enjoy and great to see you passing on the wonder of what is above.
By the way, great first name!
Brian3 always at Mandurah.

Well , I set up again tonight at the camping ground and asked people as the walked passed with their dogs , husbands and wives etc if they want to look at the moon and again showed the moon and Jupiter at 35x ( 14mm Radian) to lots of passers by , man I love this outreach .

People tonight were from England , Sweden , USA , Japan and good old aussie , about 25 or more , sweet .

The great thing ids , is that of all tonight only one lady out of everyone tonight had looked thru a scope before tonight and at the age of 10 she remembered it ,, cool or what ?

Yep , it does not get any better . .
