This is the North Group ED127 purchased from VTI Optics.
This scope has a very good objective with the views comparing well to an excellent 8" EdgeHD, the same details visible through both scopes. It also held up well against my recently purchased TSA120 last night using 8mm eyepieces. The ED127 works very well with a Denk binoviewer with the focuser having enough travel to reach focus at the 3 different powerswitch settings.
The scope comes with the standard accessories as supplied when new: rings/dovetail/handle, 2" dielectric diagonal, finderscope and heavy duty shipping case. The weight of the OTA with rings/dovetail/handle is 7.8kg.

The original objective in this scope, certified at 1/4 wave peak to valley, was replaced due to a coating defect and the new objective has a better star test than the first. Coincidently it also came with the same metal cover which is on the Explore Scientific scopes.
