Marius Dome Field Saturday July 8

Seeing was good a few days ago so I took some images of the Moon and Jupiter. Here is the southern half of the Marius Lunar Dome field.

Hi Zac

That looks very nice indeed, sharp and resolved across the entire frame. Did you use the MAP version of Registax for this image?

Cheers

Dennis

That beta version must be the MAP one. I hope the full version gets released soon. Doing MAP processing manually is sooo frustrating and time consuming

Great image Zac, lovely domes. I'm sure it'll be on LPOD soon! Well done.

MAP function in next Registax

Thank you. The next version of Registax has a MAP function. I can't say too much about it except that it enormously alleviates me of the pain of doing 20-30 MAP points manually. There are still a few bugs to iron out before Cor will release it beyond the registax development group.
