M45 from Light Pollutionville

Howdy folks,

M45 - The Pleiades from light polluted suburban Melbourne.
My first crack at this star cluster (apparently it's also known in Japan as Subaru, yes these are on the car badge too).

15x10mins, flats & darks applied.
Shot with SBIG 8300c OSC + IDAS filter.

It's no where near as spectacular as some versions seen here shot with mono cameras, and it could really do with another couple of hours exposure to bring out more of the feint blue reflection nebulosity.

Maybe I can add more data later in Summer when it's hopefully a lot higher above the horizon.

Anyway, thanks for looking.

Cheers
Andy

That's quite good - especially with all the LP.

Well done

Pete
