You could tell them the "Second Sons Trilogy" is a series of fantasy books by Australian author Jenifer Fallon.

Anything where "sons" is spelt "suns" comes from fringe dwelling fruitcakes and you should suggest they find more sane people with whom to talk.

Andrew, it turns out from further viewing that one of the goals of the Curiosity rover is to find a nice 'Tablet' like rock and use it's laser to write the 10 Commandments on it. I'd buy that. Be worth the price for the rock :-)
