Large sunspots !

Thursday 24th Oct. Large sunspot groups AR11877/79 (left) and AR 11875 (right) show up strongly today. This single exposure image taken thru a WO 81 mm refractor with Baader wedge and Canon 550d. N to upper right. Thanks for viewing.

Wilkinson, as you, I captured this spot and published here, too - Sun spot... with SPC880 ?! (updated with ASI120MC)

You, 24th - Australia. I, 23th - Brasil. And I hear about explosion of AR 1875 at 22th. Perhaps we registered the spot at "the day after". Is it true ?

Very nice John, some lovely detail in the sunspots, granulation and faculae. Thanks for this view of our local powerhouse!
