Hi All,
Flying up North for Comet ISON did not seem like a good idea so I thought I'd try to image it remotely with iTelescope.net instead. Apparently it is disintegrating (l
ink to the article), but let's hope Ignacio Ferrin is wrong...
It is my very first attempt at both remote imaging and LRGB capture/processing and I am quite happy with the process and the result.Below is the image of comet ISON from October 4th, 2013, 11:25UTC.
Planewave 508mm CDK f/6.8 with 0.66 Focal reducer and FLI ProLine PL11002M CCD. (T11 @ iTelescope.net) Lum: 5x180 sec, RGB 1x120sec
Processing in FITS Liberator 3 (don't laugh) and Phostoshop CC.
Thanks for looking,
Alex
